I’m just so happy to get this video completed
Look around you. What do you see? Who do you associate with? Are they helping you to achieve your goals? Do they uplift you? How do they treat you?
Do they hurt you? Did a drain your energy? Are they always takers you give, you give, you give constantly to them, but they do not give back to you. Did they take from you do you give to them, to only have them go into your face and insult to you? Did a say you don’t do anything for them? If so the question becomes why are you still around them? If they cannot respect you if they cannot do a simple thank you the question still becomes why are you still around them?
If they cannot appreciate anything you do for them, if they cannot understand the fact that you need love as well, if they can understand the simplest part about you, then the question still becomes why are you still around them?
If they hit you, beat you, insult you, if they go on tangents baby only bring negativity to you, the question is still why are you around them?
No matter what they say, no matter what they do, these people are the ones who bring negativity to you to give you the struggles in your life. They put the complications into your life. This is your life you do not need to have more complications. The complications you have now are all just illusions, these delusions are fueled by them.
We find ourselves in heartache because of them. I find myself now looking at them and see why are you around me? I can love you, but you cannot be around me. All the heart ache all the pain that is brought to me is because I have allowed these people around me. They play with your thoughts, they play with your motions, they play with you love, they play with your soul.
You might love them, but you have to let them go. There is a time and a day where you have to cut the cord and let the negative energy go. Your life has to be an needs to be fulfilled and blessed. If you continue to allow negative people into your world you will not have to fulfill life that you are destined to have if you allow people like that into your world you will miss you will not be able to see what you can fully do. So the question becomes again who do you surround yourself with? Who do you associate with? And why are you still around them?
Holding back all the time will never fully accomplishes what you actually want to do. Sometimes letting go is the only way to full be you. Letting go can be the only way to be free to be able to do more than what you do. Holding back can bind you to your fear leaving you just in a prison cell feeding your soul and time to it making it stronger, and larger, to the point the cell is too small for you and your fear.
Letting go, can mean just saying what needs to be said. Letting go has a time and place, sometimes immediately, sometimes it has to be held for a certain short period, but in all, it has to happen. Closing my eyes, I take a deep breathe. It’s about letting go, and live for now, holding back until I die is useless.
When stress comes, you feel that you deserve more in life, but aren’t getting it; that’s when the humble effect is needed. The thought of what you actually have, what all you been through (good and bad) and now that you are here to do be able to do greater. The humble effect: when you slowly become thankful, and a calm smoothing sensation comes in. Even with the weight of the world on your shoulders for some reason it seems lighter than normal. – The Humble effect
I have always wanted to do something that will help artists, gallery owners, curators, art lovers, and the curious to get in one spot and see different sides to art, and possibly find inspiration and joy through the whole ordeal.
So now I am working on Infinite Art Society! I am so excited, nervous, and anxious all at the same time!
You know you had a good night is when you go to a party to have some fun and you leave with a good nostalgia feeling with great music, more knowledge on how to be a complete computer nerd (which nerdy is still and always be a good thing), a sense of calm, knowing how to do tai chi! If you wonder how you can get a night like that, then you got to go to Smithsonian’s Asia After Dark! This time around it was Chinese Martial Arts theme… and this time if you came early, you got a chance to see the lion dance up close and sometimes personal. And for some who are wondering what a lion dance is, it’s the dance you have one performer holding a dragon looking head while another performer(s) act as the body and are covered. Well this one, I kept wondering if it was a dog or not, but it was a delight to watch the performance.
Once you passed the really cool guards, you had options, tai chi; large party in the middle; 3d modeling; and of course tea party, Art Talk in the back. The 3d modeling was very interesting to see the process of creation right in front of your eyes. Sometimes it seemed slow but perfection does take time, so the best way to appreciate the process was come back during the course of the night.
While creation was happening there was Tai Chi demonstrations. I can truly say the people at the Smithsonian really know how to make a Tai Chi demo feel like a VIP night club! I tried to sneak into the lecture, and was kicked out! Which I am proud to say I got kicked out of Tai Chi class, and I hold that badge with honor! So determined I managed to get into the next round of demonstrations, and it was truly worth it. When you walk out of that room from doing just simple small moves, you realize you were given something so special, so deep and spiritual, which can truly help change your life. Then you see the lines of people outside of the room, excited to get in there and you are thrown back into the moment of “oh wait, I am at a party!”
The courtyard was truly the place to be, when DJs Hop Fu started playing, and the movies started rolling. So many were dancing, and trying to watch some of the greatest Kung Fu fighting scenes ever! I was to a point of I wasn’t sure if I needed a couch to chill and watch this, or to keep dancing, either which way, I was in childhood heaven!
All in all, the night was wonderful, I feel so blessed to just be there that night. The movies, the music, the crafts, the food, the science, and everything there was brilliant, and the Tai Chi… let’s just say it was a life changer and I am so thankful for the Smithsonian for holding these parties. I know I am not the only one that night that had a magnificent life changer as well!! I can’t wait for the next one! Smithsonian staff, they are incredible!
